- Colorburst 3rd Street-Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Colorburst Third Street is a collaborative public art project developed in partnership with Downtown Cedar Rapids to bring color, creativity, and community connection to the heart of downtown. Through free workshops, community events, and public participation opportunities, residents help create handmade fiber art installations that transform everyday spaces into vibrant works of collective creativity. Colorburst demonstrates the power of community-made art to foster belonging, encourage civic engagement, and create meaningful connections between people, place, and purpose.

Why It Matters
- The impact of Crazy Yarn Club extends beyond yarn and crochet hooks. Participants come together to learn new skills, build confidence, share stories, develop friendships, and rediscover their creativity. Every class, project, and partnership creates opportunities for connection and belonging. The craft is the tool. The people are the purpose.
